    Clinical Psychologist with a special interest in DBT

    Sarah is a Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists. She has been working in the mental health sector for many years, having held senior positions in forensic, mental health and public hospital settings.

    She has a special interest in working with people who have problems with emotion regulation, and/or borderline personality disorder (BPD). She predominantly uses dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT). Sarah is a graduate of the two year Comprehensive training in DBT, through Marsha Linehan’s “Behavior Tech”, in Seattle, Washington, as well as the one year Comprehensive training in DBT through Professor Alan Fruzzetti, of Harvard University. She is trained in DBT for Adolescents, DBT-PE (DBT-Prolonged Exposure) for the treatment of trauma, and DBT in Schools. Sarah provides DBT training and supervision for psychologists and other health professionals.

    She has published in professional peer reviewed journals on the topic of anxiety and presented at national conferences on the topic of DBT. Sarah is an approved supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia and supervises psychologists and psychology students.
