Registered Psychologist

Stephen has been a practicing Psychologist for more than 20 years. He is a full member of the peak professional body for psychologists: the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and is fully registered with AHPRA.

Prior to becoming a psychologist, Steve worked as a secondary school teacher. Steve also has many years of experience working as a school psychologist in Gippsland. He understands the importance assessment can play in setting realistic goals, especially for young people. He therefore provides IQ assessments and reports for children between the ages of 6 and sixteen, however does not provide therapy for children.

Helping individuals overcome difficulties that have been preventing them from reaching their potential has always been the focus of his work.

Steve predominantly uses Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and is a part of the Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) team.

For therapy, Steve sees adults over the age of 18 years.
