    Rachel is a Mental Health Endorsed Occupational Therapist. She graduated from Curtin University of Technology, Perth in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science (OT) and a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). She has worked with children, adolescents and their families as a senior clinician in child and youth mental health services in VIC and SA, as well as child development services in WA. She has significant experience working with schools to develop plans to assist children’s participation and learning, as well as considerable group work experience.

    Rachel has an interest in Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approaches. As such Rachel takes a warm, non-judgmental stance in her therapeutic work with clients. She aims to support clients in expanding their knowledge and skills, enabling them to make changes so they are able to more meaningfully participate in the community and live in accordance with their values.

    Rachel is available to provide therapeutic support to children, adolescents, young adults and their families with a range of mental health concerns. Rachel can provide ‘Focussed Psychological Strategies’ under the Better Access to Mental Health Initiative for which Medicare rebates are available when a valid referral is provided by a GP/ Paediatrician/ Psychiatrist (under a Mental Health Treatment Plan).
