Victor’s training in trauma therapy has come from some of the world leaders, both in the USA and Europe, including Professor Edna Foa, of the University of Pennsylvania. Victor was intensively trained on “Prolonged Exposure Therapy” at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety in Pennsylvania.

He received further training in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Complex Trauma and Complex PTSD at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. This course was delivered in collaboration with Centrum45 in 2016. Foundation Centrum ’45 diagnoses and treats people with complex psychological trauma that results from persecution, war and violence (including work related violence, for example, police officers, care workers, public transport personnel; and violence inflicted during riots, kidnappings, attacks, and sexual violence/abuse).

Victor has presented scientific papers about trauma at conferences, internationally. He is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker; has a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work. Victor lives and works in Gippsland. He sees children, teenagers and adults.

Victor also has many years of working with children in the public mental health sector. We are extremely fortunate to have Victor living and working in Gippsland.

With more than 25 years experience in mental health; including 13 years in the Phillipines, and the past 12 years in Australia and New Zealand, he has a broad range of life and professional experiences and is passionate about working with people who have experienced trauma.
